"Look! There's the entrance to the treasure chamber!"
Three high but narrow passages open into one enormous room at "Number 2 under the Cross" in the Mark Twain Cave at Hannibal, Missouri. In "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" Tom and Becky Thatcher, lost in the cave, saw the light of Injun Joe's candle here, and nearly died of fright. After they were rescued Tom got Huck Finn, and together they found a golden hoard at this spot.
